The virtual Platform6 that was opened in April this year in honor of Okwui Enwezor, artistic director of Documenta11, who died in 2019, is being expanded. The focus of the first of three updates, which takes place on October 22nd, 2021, is on an interview by Documenta11 curators Ute Meta Bauer, Angelika Nollert, and Mark Nash with Ade Darmawan, Reza Afisina, and Farid Rakun of ruangrupa, the leading artists' collective of documenta fifteen. Entitled "ruangrupa on Platform6," the update concentrates on next year's documenta fifteen and the aspect of curating.

Texts by Ruti Teitel, Griselda Pollock and Alison Rowley, Charles Esche and Franz Thalmair complete the new contributions. These are rounded off by materials from the holdings of the documenta archiv. For example, the historical panel discussions from Platforms 1 to 4, which are available in the archive as videos, will be presented for the first time.

With the opening of the section library, the documenta archiv is realizing the idea of an open access platform. In the future, the contributions of Platform6 will not only be made available online, but to a large extent also as PDF downloads.

Platform6 is a dynamically growing online project. In a total of three updates, new contributions will be added that deal with Documenta11 and the topicality of its discourses.
