To date, no video footage exists of the first trailblazing documenta exhibition in 1955. All the more spectacular, therefore, is the subsequent creation of a 70-minute film documentation based on original photographs from the documenta archiv and the Deutsches Dokumentationszentrum für Kunstgeschichte – Bildarchiv Foto Marburg. Visus-Vision was successful in the realization of this project due to an innovative software tool they themselves developed. The recorded texts were developed by documenta expert Harald Kimpel. Following the presentation of the film, there is a discussion with Heiner Georgsdorf, Dr. Harald Kimpel, and E.R Nele, as well as filmmakers Peter Schima and Bernd Scott. Dirk Schwarze, chairman of the documenta forum, leads the discussion.

Organized in cooperation with the documenta forum and Visus-Vision UG.
