Memory Movers: Böhler & Orendt at the Neues Museum Nuremberg

From April 26 to October 6, the Neues Museum Nürnberg is showing the exhibition "Memory Movers" in cooperation with the Institut für Moderne Kunst Nürnberg: The artist duo Böhler & Orendt address the topic of preserving memory in archives in an immersive multimedia environment. The documenta archiv is one of 50 archives participating with loans from its own holdings.

A selection of objects shown in March of 2017 in Beijing are on display at the New Gallery of Art in Shanghai. In an exhibition space of 400 square meters, visitors will encounter the story of Arnold Bode, his native city, and his vision. He is portrayed as an artist, a curator, an inventor, and an organizer of documenta, as well as in connection with directors of later documenta exhibitions.

 

An exhibition organized by the Institute of Arts and Media Management at Freie Universität Berlin and the Institute for Art Administration and Education at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) Beijing in cooperation with the documenta archiv.
